REALTORS^® support measures to improve the real estate practice and transactions. A strong economy depends on preserving the investment people have made in their property and improvements. REALTORS^® strongly believe in protecting property owners' rights to own, use, and transfer real estate.

• Support legislation that protects private property rights, including notification to surface owners, eminent domain and condemnation issues.
   
• Monitor legislation to regulate the mortgage lenders.
   
• Monitor legislation regarding land use planning and growth management issues at all levels of government.
   
• Monitor regulation issues including: the regulation of home inspectors, the continuation of the Continuing Education requirements for real estate licensees, and the efforts of the Real Estate Commission and the Division of Regulatory Agencies in addressing Errors and Omissions insurance for licensees.
   
• Be proactive in the development of legislation to regulate exchange accommodators.
