The Government Affairs Division of the Pikes Peak Association of REALTORS^® monitors policies, ordinances, and legislation that could adversely affect the Quality of Life enjoyed by Colorado's citizens. REALTORS^® believe we can build better communities by supporting quality growth and seeking sustainable economies and housing opportunities that embrace the environmental qualities we cherish, while protecting property rights.

In order to protect the free enterprise system and the right to own and transfer real property, many members understand the importance of contributing to the Political Survival Committee (PSC). With your help, PSC can continue effectively aiding in supporting or opposing legislation that hinders our efforts to maintain an exceptional business.

The real estate industry is one of the most heavily regulated industries in the country and it seems that every day brings a new attempt by government to regulate, tax, or hamper our efforts to earn a living. In order to continue the well being of the real estate industry, it is imperative that we work together through PSC to make our voice heard where many interest groups compete.

The REALTORS^® are now the # 1 trade association in the United States. Our voice is powerful in the political arena, however without adequate contributions made to PSC, our ability to support, endorse, and promote REALTOR^® friendly issues is severely hampered.
