What is Government Affairs?

In accordance with the overall mission of the organization, the Government Affairs Division of the Pikes Peak Association of REALTORS^® monitors policies, ordinances and legislation that could adversely affect private property rights and the free enterprise system.

PPAR seeks to proactively engage in the public policy and political arena so as to not only ensure proper representation of the Association's interests at various levels of the decision-making process, be it local, state, and federal, but to also contribute to the overall quality of life on the Pikes Peak region. As a member of the Quality Community Group, PPAR works closely with the Housing and Building Association, the Economic Development Corporation and the Chamber to address quality of life concerns
