   Legislative Policy Committee

One of the responsibilities of PPAR is to actively engage with CAR to protect private property rights and promote the free enterprise system.

The state structure includes a state legislative committee that involves all Realtor® associations across Colorado. The Legislative Policy Committee (LPC) is comprised of voting members selected from local Realtor® boards and associations to assist in monitoring and advocating for public policy and legislative issues of importance to the Realtor® community.

The LPC's Purpose:
The committee monitors all legislation considered by the Colorado General Assembly; promotes or opposes any and all legislation which would have a favorable or negative impact on the real estate industry; proposes legislation that will improve the real estate industry's operation; communicates on a regular basis with members and Boards of REALTORS® on legislative issues; and Calls-to-Actions on state legislative matters.
PPAR's Representatives on the LPC: Dana Duncan, Jack Beuse, Tony Rose

The Legislative Policy Committee meets every other Friday at CAR headquarters in Denver during the 120 days (January 9 - May 9) of the legislative session.
